10th Vocabulary Entry
10th Reflection
I'ved learn a lot in class throughout this semester . Now , im very proud of myself in learning English .My pronouncation and my grammar has improved a lot . Actually , I am very weak in doing reported speech . Everytime Madam Atee gave us an exercise , I start to mumble . But , not long after that , I get a little excited in doing reported speech because I have learned how to do reported speech . The main reason to study English is to sound educated and literate. In order to advance in the professional world, you must have proper English and good speech. For example, although President George W. Bush is an extremely smart and important person he at times lacks public speaking abilities. This has been a detriment to him and a big reason why people may not favor him. Where as, President Bill Clinton spoke very well and was very poplar with the people because he was able to properly connect with the public. This ties in the reason for why studying English thoroughly is important in the business world. In order to obtain a good career an advancement as well as respect from your peers you have to be literate and well educated. An additional reason for studying English is for communication. You are much more accepted in the world if you portray yourself better. People will think of you in a better way and you will have a better chance of being accepted. You will most likely also have more opportunities in life.In conclusion, there are many reasons as to why studying English is important. One is being that you sound more educated and literate, two is to communicate properly with others, and three because it is important for career advancement and respect in the business world. Learning English never ends, there is the English dictionary that has so many words in it that most people have never even utilized or heard. Learning to properly use one new word each week is a great way to continually learn to utilize the English language.

Ella loves music. Her favorite kind of music is rock and roll. She is constantly listening to music on her radio, and her computer is always playing music in her room. Her birthday is coming up in a few weeks and she really wants to see a concert to celebrate it. She has been fantasizing about it daily. Ezra, her boyfriend, has decided to surprise her with tickets for her birthday.
Ezra told Ella that he would pick her at eight tomorrow night. Ella replied that she will be ready by then and asked him what will they be doing. Ezra said to Ella that they are going to Ella's favorite restaurant and a surprise for her. She thought its great and guess that the surprise would be a piece of jewelry or something impractical.
The following day, Ezra arrived at eight to take Ella to diner. They ate at her favorite restaurant and as they were paying the bill Ezra gave her an envelope. Ezra told her to open it. Ella thanked Ezra. She opened the envelope and found two front row tickets to her favorite concert. Ella was very surprise.
They left the restaurant and left for the concert. Ella was so excited. They both had a great time at the concert. The band played all of her much-loved songs. Ella and Ezra decided that it was the best birthday celebration she had ever had.

The story is about a man who isn't in the spirit of Christmas. One day , he decided to go to a toy store . While at the store he saw a little boy, who was desperately wanted to buy the doll but he did not had enough money to buy it. He was also curious to whom the doll for . After he asked the little boy, he was very surprised and his heart was touched by the little boy story. He secretly helped out the boy by adding his money, so he could buy the doll. He never thought that the little boy care so much for his family, especially his sister who had just passed away . He felt very sorry for the little boy because Christmas is a celebration that we celebrate with the ones we loved and family members, not for a funeral. There are many lessons that can be found in this story, there are sympathy towards other. Next, as a human being we must respect for one another problems and try to help them because we never know life ahead us. Lastly , is caring for each other no mater whasto or where they are, even if they had passed away. By doing so, we could make them felt better from what they had been through just like what the man had done to the little boy .

6th Reflection
Before I start writing on the very thought that ‘if I could turn back time I would have taken or what things I would like to set right’ I would like to point to a fact that there comes a time in ones life that he begins to think not only about his or her future but also about his or her past and how it moulded the way he thinks and its impact the events had on his decisions. On the other hand some people take their decisions on their past experience and the way things turned out to be. Sometimes people totally depend on their gut feelings or intutions. Like wise the everone has priorities in life which are according to their own perceptions and feelings and then they base their decisions on winning or losing , achieving or not achieving, victory or defeat, or success or failure. In short the decisions men make in their life more or less, is most of the time based on the above mentioned factors. And when things don’t turn out as planned they usually result in demoralizing situations or sometimes even regrets. However this may not be the case always because of the given situation at the time. Some decisions are perfectly valid and rational given the situation. But this dosent change the fact that a time once passed is always past.
Altough we cant turn back hands of time, we can definatly put light on the things/ decisions we could have made In a much beter way. Some people have no regrets from their decisions they took in their past which profoundly affected them. I am one of them. On the other hand I also accept the fact that no one is perfect and I am no exception. I remember being a naughty child, having disregard of any type of responsibility whatso ever, studies being on top of the list. They say don’t waste time. I said I don’t waste time I simply do gain other benefits from it. Again comes the importance of setting right priorities and I was not up to it. But sooner or later one realizes the importance of time and making good use of it.

5th Reflection
I remember being frightened all the time by my friends .
They always made a joked on me whenever I watched a scary movie . When the
movie has ended , they will switched of the lights and made a spooky
sound and frightened me .
I would like to tell you a story
that might scare you to death . But before that , its not a true story . I’ved
just made it all up and some sentences I copied it from my friends . It all started
when I moved into an old house. I was 10
years old. My sister and I were so excited.
My father renovated the house shortly after we moved in. He extended my room,
(which we called the sun room, as it was at the end of the house where the sun
shone in all day), and put in a new kitchen, bathrooms, and built a large deck
in the backyard with a fish pond fill with Koi fish. It wasn't long after we moved
in that we started experiencing grotesque
. The first thing happen is I can't
remember what had happen that nightfall . Whilst my bedroom was being
renovated, I shared a room with my brother. One night, Mum awoke to the sound
of us having a conversation. Assuming we had stayed up past our bed time, she
came into the room and told us to go to sleep. Instead of responding, we
continued to talk, and at that moment she said realized we were sleep-talking.
"There he is!" I said "He's coming!" My brother then began
to say "The man is here!" My mother thought this was strange, so she
woke us up, saying we'd had a bad dream. The next instance occurred, again, to
my mother. She felt menacing again. She
awoke to footsteps walking around her bed. When we opened her eyes, she saw a
short black shadow with glowing green eyes staring back at her. She hit out at
the 'thing' in fear, which resulted in my father waking up, confused. He
insisted that she must have been dreaming, as he didn't believe in anything
paranormal. The bizarre thing was, that 5 minutes after she had seen this
glowing eyed creature, my brother ran into her bedroom saying he had just seen
ghost standing by his bed. It had haunt my mum since then. I remember my first
encounter with an apparition. It is petrifying. I would have been about 10
years old. It was after Dad had finished renovating my new bedroom. It was a
still night, and no moon in the sky, so my bedroom was pitching black. Like my
mother, I awoke to footsteps slowly walking into my room and around my bed. I
opened my eyes, and to my horror, a blonde haired boy with blue eyes, knelt
beside my bed. He just stared at me, smiling. A white glow surrounded that soul.
It was so bright it hurt my eyes. I remember being so terrified. I couldn't
move. I felt frozen, my heart was racing. I got the courage to pull the blanket
up over my head, and I said in a low voice "you go from here, what do you
want? Please do not bother me and my family" after a few minutes of the
things departed from my room. I was
relieved but still had the feeling of disconsolate. My mother also saw many other entities or
shadows including a tall man wearing a top hat, a girl with abnormally big eyes
and long brown hair, and small children playing on her window seat. The most
terrifying experience I had was something I could not see, but could only hear.
I had just lingered into bed and turned
off the light, when I noticed a noise that sounded like somebody breathing
heavily. I listened for a while. It got louder and louder. It was the scariest
thing I've ever heard in my life. I was actually convinced someone had to be in
the room, under my bed or in the closet. Too frightened to move, I called out
to my parents. Dad came into the room and asked me what was wrong. After
informing him of the breathing, he sat with me in silence to see if he could
hear what I'd been telling him about. We sat quietly for a couple of minutes,
and nothing could be heard. It had completely stopped. He said it could have
been the water pipes, told me not to worry, and tucked me into bed. I felt
comforted, especially now that the breathing had gone. But seconds after he
left the room, it started again. It was a deep breathing. Almost like whoever
it was, was struggling to breathe. I can't describe how terrifying it was to
hear such a thing.Even when I invited friends over to the house, they were too
scared to come back after their visit. On one occasion, I had 3 friends over.
We were playing in the garden at dusk, and I ran inside to grab everyone a drink.
When I came back, the three smiling faces had now turned to ones of fear. I
keep asking "why do you like fear" John replied, "we saw an
entity that is like a child who is very small, coming from behind the plants and
shrubs in the pool, to go directly to the great drain, 'and I said "huh,
that's just your imagination only, nothing" that they had no fear and
little heart I said is it true what they
see. Many strange things we have experienced when make our hearts become disconsolate live in this house, this strange
thing. Over the space of 11 years in the
house, my family and I experienced some terrifying things. In the end, we had
to move out because my parents decided to split. A week after they announced
this, my cat was found dead in the garden. It was like the end of an era.
